AVES Civil Society Organization Inc. Executive Leaders Share Expertise at University of Perpetual Help System DALTA Seminar Series

The executive leaders from AVES Civil Society Organization Inc. delivered their expertise through two seminars which took place at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA – Molino Campus on March 25, 2025. The 3rd Floor Function Room of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management hosted the events that formed part of the Gender and Development Program/Celebration at the university.
A seminar named “Beyond Stigma: Understanding and Preventing HIV” sought to eliminate stigmas by educating participants on HIV knowledge and debunking widespread misconceptions about the disease. The AVES leaders taught important education principles and HIV prevention strategies through extensive discussions about support networks used by HIV-positive people. The group underscored the need to build an environment that includes people living with HIV along with compassion towards them.
The second seminar entitled “Seminar on Love Relationships and Responsibility: Making Informed Choices” concentrated its attention on responsible choices in relationships coupled with sexual health importance. The seminar served to provide students with necessary information so they could make well-informed decisions for building healthy relationships while showing respect and taking responsibility.
Seminar participation was rewarding since it yielded discussions among 132 college students and 82 senior high school students regarding essential public health matters and personal responsibility issues. AVES Civil Society Organization Inc. stands as a leading force to promote awareness along with education and social change about essential topics.
